Registration and Scheduling Are Different
Registration means creating or accessing your GARP account, choosing the October 2026 exam administration, and paying the applicable fee.
Scheduling happens afterward through Pearson VUE. During scheduling, candidates select:

Can You Defer the October 2026 Exam?
SCR candidates may defer their registration once to the next available exam window. The official deferral deadline for an October exam is October 1, and the administrative fee is USD 150.
This is different from rescheduling within the October 17–25 exam window. Rescheduling changes the appointment date, time, or location while keeping the candidate in the same exam administration. A deferral moves the registration to the next exam window.
GARP also permits refund requests within 48 hours after submitting the registration payment. Requests must be sent to GARP Member Services.
